The Grey Horse is a hidden gem, tucked away in old Penshaw village next to The Church of all Saints which was built in 1746 and close to the picturesque heritage monument. Often missed by locals and passersby it has easy access from the A183. The pub has retained its traditional appearance with two open fireplaces which creates a relaxing and comfortable place to eat and drink. There is a delicious menu available ranging from main meals, lighter bites such as sandwiches and jacket potatoes, desserts and beverages.

2 meals for only £10, Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm -5pm

A beautiful home cooked Sunday lunch is available between 12pm - 4pm

To compliment your meal there are 1 different ales to choose from, including a full selection of draught lager and beer as well as wine, spirits and a range of soft drinks for none drinkers and drivers.
