Barnardo's is one of the leading children’s charities in the UK and we are urgently seeking carers in the North East to provide:

Temporary and short-term fostering
Emergency fostering
Permanent and long-term foster care
Short-break care

For all types of children and in particular sibling groups, teenagers, parent and child placements, black and minority ethnic children, children who are sexually exploited and those with challenging behaviours. As a fostering and adoption agency we help local authorities place children who might otherwise not find permanent families.

We welcome all applications. You can be married, single, divorced, any sexuality, cohabiting, with or without children, from all ethnic groups and religions, employed or unemployed - we assess all applications on merit.
